Maureen Janson is a Chicago-born American film and voice actor. A former dancer and choreographer, she has appeared in numerous commercials, short films, feature films, and print media. Prior to her on-camera work, for 40 years she contributed dance choreography to regional theatre, opera and concert dance productions nationwide. 


Behind the camera she specializes in headshots for actors, and applies her compositional expertise and artistic eye toward creating resonant images of people, nature, performance, architecture and more.


She also writes and edits for a variety of print and online publications as a freelancer with a strong dance/theatre focus.
